Life Is Too Short

There is a lot of uncertainty right now. The world is facing something unlike anything we've seen before. While there have been pandemics, our medical care has never had better technology, faster science. And while there have been pandemics, we've never seen such quick assess to media, for better or for worse.

In the days of Facebook, Instagram, Google, and Cell Phones that are actually just mini-computers we carry around in our pockets, news hits us instantly - whether we want it to or not. Whether it's been vetted or not. It's impossible to avoid the news these days as we all stay sheltered within our homes, our kids completing school assignments online, and with as many businesses as possible pushing for remote work.

But is life over? Is now when we give up on being happy? On thriving? On doing all the damn things we've always wanted to do?

Now don't get me wrong. If money isn't tight for you right now, you are in the very elite top few. I get it. Everyone has money issues right now. And I'm not saying book some extravagant vacation (especially since we can't go anywhere anyway!).

What I AM saying is --- this should be your wakeup call. This should be the moment you decide to make the change, for good. Life IS too short. For shoes that don't fit, for friends that aren't so friendly, for jobs that paid the bills, but crushed your soul. The world is changing. Faster now than ever.

And you know what? If you want to live your life to its fullest, if you want to be truly happy, if you WANT to get out of bed every morning without feeling like crap, NOW is the time to make those changes!

Now is the time when you need to be seeking out the very BEST healthcare. No insurance? No problem. The truth is, that insurance LIMITED who you could see. Or at least, you thought it did. Now, don't get me wrong. There are some AMAZING providers that take insurance. But the value I bring - the value my colleagues bring - with each of our specialities -- insurance doesn't cover that. And I'm sorry that it doesn't - but guess what? We're in the business of helping people learn how to help their body heal ON ITS OWN. And that means you wouldn't need all those medications, and doctor's appointments, and whatever else it is you've been told is critical for your health. Can EVERYONE get off every single med? Move away from every single specialist? No, probably not. Type 1s will almost always need insulin. Those that have had major surgeries may be dependent on specific medications for a lifetime now. I get it. I do. Trust me.

But what about those statins? That Type 2 treatment? Maybe your future includes those. But what if it didn't? What if you could learn how to nourish your body so it's healthy again? Guys, I have not met ONE single person that can't have their health improved by working with a Functional Nutritionist. I haven't met ONE person who is a "hopeless case". Or too complex. Or too many diagnoses.

I believe that diagnoses can stem from a root cause that often goes overlooked. I believe you CAN change. But you have to be willing to do the work. You have to be willing to put down the Diet Coke. To stop smoking. To lessen your screentime (yep, that too!). To eat in a CALM state instead of shoving a bar in your mouth as you head out the door while yelling at your youngest to make sure he has his soccer cleats. Yeah, I know - those days are on hold right now, but they'll be back.

And you know what? Because life is sort of on hold at the moment....now really is the PERFECT time to start making changes. So work with a professional. Don't just try all the random trendy diets trying to find the right one, without really knowing if something would make it better or worse. Work with a professional who ACTUALLY understands how to balance out your body. How to identify nutrient deficiencies and imbalances. Find your person that will CHANGE. YOUR. LIFE.

The Time Is Now.
