Broccoli Sprouts! How to Sprout at Home

Broccoli Sprouts are truly the superior sprout! They have amazing anti-cancer benefits due to their high levels of sulforaphane, and I recommend eating 1-2 ounces a day for prevention. They are SUPER easy to make (it's the one food I can grow, you guys - if I can do it, you can do it!), you just need the tray, and the seeds!

The tray I use is THIS ONE. The seeds I've liked best are THESE.

All you do is scatter the seeds out in each tray as pictured above - be careful not to over crowd! Then grab about 2 cups of water (depending on the tray you select) and pour it in the very top lid. It will take a few minutes to trickle down through each tray.

That's IT! Do that twice a day, rotate the trays, and empty the water in the bottom tray every time. Within 2-4 days, you should have BEAUTIFUL sprouts to add to smoothies, burger bowls, salads, or just eat them straight out of the jar!
