Basic Easy Bone Broth

Bone broth is absolutely amazing for the gut! It's a wonderful option to sip on (especially in the colder months!) and we love it as a base for soups and sauces, and even using it as substitute for water when we DO cook rice, quinoa, etc.

Ingredients:

Full Chicken Carcass/Chicken Bones

1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Gallon of Pure, Filtered Water

Directions:

Grab a slow cooker or large pot.

Set bones in pot.

Add water, enough to cover bones (I usually fill my pot 75% of the way).

Add your ACV.

Cover and simmer for 12-24 hours.

Remove bones and filter through mesh strainer.

Use immediately and/or refrigerate for up to 1 week.

Extra broth will store well in silicone ice cube trays in the freezer!
