Let Food Be Thy Medicine

Take your first step today!

Please note working with me is a detailed, committed process.

I'm very selective with who I accept as clients in order to most effectively respect my time as well as yours, and help you pursue the results you desire.

You must be 100% committed to making changes!

Hey There, I'm Tiffany!

When you've suffered from chronic symptoms for as long as I have, you start to question whether or not you've been doing the right things. Maybe your allergies keep getting worse. Maybe that gut issue used to flare once in a while, but now it's all the time. Maybe your migraines keep you away from your kids, your family, your friends - keep you from doing things you love.

You DON'T have to live that way. You can take your health back. And I can help you. I'm a certified Oncology Nutrition Consultant (ONC) and Functional Nutrition Therapy Practitioner (FNTP). I sat exactly where you are at today. Maybe your symptoms are different than mine, but the decision is the same. Let me help you focus on fixing root cause, instead of being one more restricting band-aid.

As an Functional Nutritionist, I'm a firm believer in a holistic approach to healing. Working with me means you receive individualized assessments completely unique to you and your body, and we'll work together to design nutrition and lifestyle recommendations aimed at helping your body heal from the inside out. There's no standard recommendation or cookie cutter approach. My goal is to identify how to best support you to meet your health goals, and educate you on how to take your health back! I take clients local to me in Southlake, TX and surrounding areas, but I also offer online services for anyone that isn't local!

The body works as a full system, with all the parts needing to be in balance with one another. In my practice, I support the individual parts, as well as the whole, to help you achieve your optimal health through natural balance.

Functional Nutrition with Tiffany Focuses On:

FUNCTIONAL NUTRITIONAL THERAPY PRACTITIONER

What's the difference between a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, a Registered Dietitian, a Nutritionist, and a Health Coach?

As an FNTP, I take a holistic approach to healing, and consider the whole person. Body, Mind, and Spirit. I recognize that disease is complex, and focus on bio-individuality: where every individual has a specific genetic, ancestral, and geographic makeup that determines their own unique nutritional needs. Many treatments, programs, and diets fail because they take a "one size fits all" approach, ignoring your bio-individuality.

When you work with me, you receive a comprehensive assessment, including an Initial Intake, a Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (also referred to as the NAQ - over 300 detailed symptom questions), a Food & Mood Journal, a Functional Evaluation (FE), and a full scope recommendation. The FE is a hands on evaluation allowing me to identify organ and physiological stress. This gives me insight into prioritizing recommendations accordingly with your health concerns and goals. The focus is always aiming to address root cause, and in many cases, improving multiple symptoms through one protocol. The FE allows me to further assess your biochemical needs and make unique food and lifestyle recommendations, just for you. For more about the FE, visit my Functional Evaluation page.

REGISTERED DIETITIAN

A regulated healthcare professional licensed to assess, diagnose, and treat nutritional symptoms. An RD typically works in a hospital setting, and may have a more traditional (or western) view of medicine than a holistic approach.  Dietitians are an excellent resource.

NUTRITIONIST

This can be anyone who claims to be an expert in the field of nutrition.  While it is somewhat regulated, state laws very in how an individual can use the term "nutritionist".

HEALTH COACH

This can be anyone who claims to be an expert in helping you understand general health and wellness. They are meant to help educate and empower their clients. Health Coaches do not interpret labs, recommend or sell supplements, or give nutritional advice.
